Is it apathy? According to Dave, that may not be the case. So what can we do?<\/p>\n<p><strong>1) communicate your message like you would advertise<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; keep it simple<br \/>\n&#8211; use visuals<br \/>\n&#8211; make it stick<br \/>\n&#8211; allow follow up<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) use your shared spaces purposefully<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; create focal areas for messages<br \/>\n&#8211; allow participation and sharing (e.g. post-its, dribble wall, etc)<\/p>\n<p><strong>3) recognise and celebrate excellence<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; recognise extraordinary effort by individual team members<br \/>\n&#8211; celebrate excellent customer feedback<br \/>\n&#8211; ditch &#8220;employee-of-the-month&#8221; posters, have weekly\/daily team meetings instead, and have the &#8220;employee-of-the-week&#8221; share about what worked, and what doesn&#8217;t, and how others can try to do<\/p>\n<p><strong>4) allow HR voice in the boardroom<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; allow HR to be aligned to management direction<br
